Internet Explorer 8: Access Problem with USPTO PAIR Database

Problem: When using Internet Explorer 8 ....when I "right click" on a U.S. patent or published U.S. patent application and try to access the USPTO Public Patent Application Information Retrieval (PAIR) database I get a browser access message and I can't access PAIR.

Solution: Follow the steps below, then refresh your IPVision account by logging off and logging in:

1) Open an Internet Browser window
2) Click on Tools menu
3) Click on Internet Options. menu option
4) Click on Security tab
5) Click "Trusted sites" to switch to manage your trusted sites
6) Click the "Sites" button, make sure that *.ipvisioninc.com and *.see-the-forest.com are in the list of trusted sites, and close the dialog
7) Click "Custom level ." button
8) Under the Miscellaneous section, "Enable" the option "Access data sources across domains"
9) Click the "OK" button and then close and restart the IE browser
